You are going to explore the entire estate, tour the vineyards and wine cellars and understand the production process of Brunello di Montalcino. Tenuta Fanti belongs to the Fanti family since 1800. It was transformed from a sharecropping company to a winery, marking an important transition. The property extends across 260 hectares of land: 55 hectares of vineyards, 60 of olive trees and 145 of crops and forest which surround the new wine cellar built in 2004. The soil has a volcanic origin and it is rich in skeleton. The winery converted to organic agriculture, in an attempt to safeguard the territory and improve the quality of the products, while respecting consumers’ health. Here you will have a guided tour of the winery to understand the company’s philosophy, retracing together the various phases of wine production. You will understand the identity of the vineyards during the wine tasting in the panoramic terrace. The wines will be paired with typical Montalcino dishes prepared by the expert hands of their chefs. The experience will be accompanied by a tasting of their extra virgin olive oil.

The winery has ancient origins and preserves the spirit of a centennial past. The same family has run the estate since 1850. They have dedicated themselves to the cultivation of cereals, olive groves and vineyards. An interesting fact is that the oldest part of the cellar houses an underground tunnel that opens into small caves of probable Etruscan origin. You will get to explore them and tour the entire estate. The winery has a diversified production: wines, grappa and olive oil. The visit will finish by tasting their signature wines.
